Chan Ka Isom, 31, passed away on August 3, 2008. Beloved by family and friends, Chan was known for his cheerful presence and commitment to those he loved. He worked as an employee at NSC and cared deeply for his family, especially his wife Tawana. Chan is survived by his wife, his mother Idalyn Isom, and his brothers Cory (Diann), Cacy (Shelby) and Chad (Elisha) Isom, along with extended family including his mother‑in‑law Beverly Harris and sisters‑in‑law Tamika and Tamara Harris.
Those who gathered to remember Chan recalled a man whose smile and personality made a lasting impression. Funeral services were held at Canaan Christian Church with visitation at A.D. Porter & Sons Funeral Home in Louisville.
