Remembering Timothy
A life held close in memory
Timothy Shawn Profitt, 41, of Colson, Kentucky, passed away on September 10, 2019. Timothy was known to family and those close to him as a devoted son and a loving father to his children, Konner and Katie. Born November 30, 1977, he grew up in the Letcher County area and remained closely connected to his community and family throughout his life.
Timothy’s life was centered on the people he cared for most. He will be remembered for the ordinary, meaningful ways he showed up for family: being present for his children, keeping close family bonds, and taking part in local life in and around Colson and Whitesburg.
