Remembering Taryn

A life held close in memory

Taryn Nicole (Richey) Meyer was born April 13, 1983, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She grew up as part of a close family and shared a special bond with her twin brother, Taylor. Known by those who loved her as kind, forgiving, and generous, Taryn carried a natural desire to help others into everything she did.

In recent years Taryn had channeled her caring spirit into entrepreneurship, opening her own cleaning business where she took pride in serving people and meeting practical needs with attention and respect. She was described by family as someone who loved deeply and freely — the kind of person who would give the shirt off her back without asking why.

Taryn’s life reflected warmth and a generosity of spirit that touched family and friends alike. She is remembered by her parents, Roger David and Brenda Uncles Richey, and is preceded in death by her brother Brady Michael Richey and other relatives. She leaves behind treasured memories held by siblings and extended family who recall her laughter, compassion, and steady devotion to those she loved.

On July 24, 2021, Taryn passed away in Denver, Colorado. Her family and community mourn the loss of a woman whose everyday kindness and service left an impression on those around her. Those who knew Taryn remember her not for the way she died but for the life she lived: generous, hardworking, and full of care for others. Her memory remains in the hearts of family and friends who celebrate the warmth she brought into their lives.
