Samir Terry

Samir Dupree Terry, born January 18, 2000, in Durham, North Carolina, brought joy to family and friends through his love of music, movies, and good food. Family was central to Samir’s life. He is remembered as a devoted son and brother who took comfort and pride in his relationships. He was preceded in death by several family members and is survived by his parents Damon Dupree Terry and Samantha Williams-Davis; his sister Samaira Williams; stepbrother Nehemiah Boyce; grandmother Mary Williams; aunts and uncles including Rodney Fitzgerald, Timothy Fitzgerald, Sheila Gill, and Denise Williams; his close friend Camron; and a wide circle of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Those who wish to honor Samir may remember him in the songs he loved, the movies he enjoyed, and the meals where laughter and conversation were shared. His family has entrusted funeral arrangements to Alight Funeral & Cremation Services, LLC.
