Obituary

A formal remembrance

Sade Lanise Brown, 33, of McKeesport, passed away on September 6, 2022. A cherished daughter of Kim Brown and John Perry Jr., Sade was known foremost for the love she held for her children and family. She was the mother of Say'Veon Davis, Ha'Siah Brown Blandenburg and A'Zaria Mia Moorer, and her family remembers her affectionately as someone who put her children at the center of her world.

Sade is also survived by her siblings La'Sha Monique Brown, Tashaya Lewis and John Perry III, along with extended family and friends who mourn her loss. Those who knew her recall a woman whose presence mattered in everyday moments: in family gatherings, in the small kindnesses she showed to neighbors, and in the ties she maintained to community and kin.

Services to celebrate Sade's life were held on September 14, 2022, at Living Water Ministry (also referenced as Willow Way) in Braddock, with visitation earlier that morning. She was laid to rest at Monongahela Cemetery.

Sade's life was defined by the relationships she treasured and the role she filled as a mother and daughter. While words cannot fully capture the quiet and meaningful ways she shaped the lives of those close to her, her memory lives on in her children and the family who survive her. Family and friends were invited to honor her memory at the service, and those touched by her life continue to remember her with love and respect.
