Sadashivia "Kumara" Kumaraswamy was a devoted husband, father and friend whose calm presence and quiet kindness were a comfort to family and neighbors. A longtime member of the local Indian-American community in the Cumming/Atlanta area, he valued family gatherings, tradition, and the steady rhythms of everyday life. Those who knew him remember a man who took pride in providing for his loved ones and who enjoyed sharing meals, stories and laughter with those close to him.

Kumara’s family meant everything to him. He was a constant at family events and found joy in simple, meaningful moments with relatives and friends. Known for his gentle manner and patience, he offered steady support to those around him and took pleasure in the company of family across generations.

Friends and neighbors recall his hospitable nature and the warmth he brought to ordinary days. While he preferred to keep to a quiet life, his presence was felt by many who appreciated his reliability, sense of duty, and the unassuming way he cared for others.

Sadashivia passed away on July 22, 2021. His death was deeply felt by family and the wider community; those who loved him remember a life marked by devotion, humility and love for his family. Services were announced through the family’s chosen funeral provider.
