Remembering Ronald

A life held close in memory

Ronald Glenn “Glenn” Gullette Jr., 44, of Charlotte passed away on March 30, 2014. A native of Manhattan, New York, Glenn made his life in the Charlotte area where he was known by family and friends for his quiet strength and devotion to those he loved.

Glenn worked for the Lincoln Harris Company and was an active member of Mount Pisgah Baptist Church in Waxhaw, NC, where his faith and community ties were important parts of his life. He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Marsha Jean Reid Gullette, and their sons Andrew and Brendon, who shared his home. He was also the father of Dameon Gullette, Falisha Barton (Anthony), and Galana Gullette, and a grandfather to eight grandchildren whose lives he helped shape.

Family meant everything to Glenn. He is survived by his parents, Ronald Glenn Gullette Sr. and Wendy Griffin; his sister Veronica Gullette; and his brothers Darrell, Darnell, and Darron Gullette. Those who knew him recall a dependable presence who took pride in providing for his family and supporting them in everyday ways.

A celebration of Glenn’s life was held at Mount Pisgah Baptist Church, with friends and relatives gathering to honor his memory and the warmth he offered to those close to him. Interment followed in the church cemetery. The family entrusted Harris Funeral Home & Cremations in Monroe with arrangements and invited friends to share memories and condolences through the funeral home’s guest resources.

Though taken too soon, Glenn’s legacy remains in the family he loved and the community connections he fostered. He is remembered with gratitude for his steady care and the quiet, meaningful ways he enriched the lives around him.
