The story of Philip Edward Peterson
Philip was born in Salem, Oregon in 1981 and was a very happy soul, always full of energy, loved sports and was always kind to all around him.
Philip joined the Army in 2002 and was later deployed to Afghanistan for a year.
After his discharge in 2005 Phil moved back to Salem and he met and married Carline Paul and soon had a son named Edwyn.
Phil, Carline and Edwyn moved to Kennesaw, Georgia around 2018 for his job at Home Depot where he worked until his death.
Even though they moved so far away, Philip kept close contact with his family and friends on the West coast.

A formal remembrance
Philip lost his bout with depression after being deployed to Afghanistan. Sadly Phil died on January 20, 2023. He is deeply missed by his family and friends: Robert Peterson(Father), Karen Peterson(Step-Mother), Edwyn Peterson(Son), Carline Peterson(Wife), Paul Peterson(Brother), Rachel Holt(Sister), Tony Holt(Brother-In-Law), Mary Peterson(Mother), Holly Heldenbrand(Step-Sister), John Berdahl(Step-Brother) and his wife and children Sheri, Cherish, Jayce & Junior, Philip's good friend Jason Purkey and many others. I think about him every day.
