Maysie Murphy

Maysie Elizabeth Murphy grew up in Crosby, Texas, where family and close friendships shaped a young life full of warmth and laughter. Born January 12, 2005 in Baytown, she was raised in the tight-knit community of Crosby and remembered by relatives and friends for her sunny smile and generous nature.

A graduate of local schools, Maysie built lasting friendships and cherished everyday moments with the people around her. She worked as a server at Cactus Jacks, where coworkers and customers recalled her welcoming manner and quick sense of humor. Those who knew her said she had an easy way of making others feel seen—qualities that made her both a dependable friend and a comforting presence in the routines of daily life.

Family was central to Maysie. She is survived by her mother, Rachael Novak; her father, Patrick Murphy (and bonus mother Gina Murphy); sisters and brothers who loved her; and a large circle of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews who valued her deeply.
