Remembering Logan

A life held close in memory

Logan Joe Corday was born July 17, 2005, in Cadillac, Michigan, and became a cherished member of the Cando community after his family moved there in 2011. A freshman at North Star High School, Logan was known for a large, joyful presence—capable of making classmates laugh and of lifting the spirits of those around him. He carried a compassionate heart, a blend of qualities his family treasured, and he took pride in his athletic interests, participating in basketball, football, and golf at school.

Logan’s family remembers him for his warmth and humor, traits that endeared him to friends, teachers, and neighbors. He admired and looked up to his sisters, took cues from his parents, and added his own bright and playful spirit to everyday life in Cando. Whether on the field, on the court, or in a classroom, Logan’s enthusiasm and ability to connect with others left a lasting impression on his community.

Services were arranged by Gilbertson Funeral Home with gatherings held in Cando where family and friends shared memories, prayers, and stories of Logan’s life. He was laid to rest at Sacred Heart Cemetery following a funeral service at Sacred Heart Church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggested donations to the North Star High School athletics department to honor Logan’s love of sports and the community he supported.

Logan’s life, though far too brief, touched many. His laughter, the way he could command attention in a room, and the kindness he showed to those close to him remain part of his lasting legacy. Those who loved him remember not only the bright energy he brought to everyday moments but also the compassion he showed others. He will be quietly and lovingly remembered by family, friends, teammates, and his school community.
