Remembering Linda

A life held close in memory

Linda C. (Hachey) Robinson, aged 55, was cherished for her devotion to family and the warmth she brought to those who knew her. Born in Lynn on July 25, 1967, Linda split her childhood between the United States and Canada and completed her education at Lynn English High School before graduating from Merrimack College. Early in her professional life she worked as a model and later found a fulfilling career in accounting and human resources.

A resident of Andover for more than thirty years, Linda most proudly embraced motherhood. Her family described her as a loving mother who treasured her son, Sebastian, and for whom family life was central. Those close to her remember a woman who cared deeply for her loved ones and who brought steadiness and thoughtfulness to everyday moments.

Linda is survived by her father, Joseph Hachey of Lynn; her brother and sister-in-law, Steven and Christine Hachey of Peabody; her nephew, Steven Hachey; and an extended circle of Hachey and Champagne relatives. Her family arranged a Funeral Mass to celebrate her life and the life of her son at Saint John’s Preparatory School in Danvers, and they invited friends to honor their memory. In lieu of flowers, the family asked that donations be made to the Sebastian and Linda Robinson Scholarship Fund at Saint John’s Preparatory School, a gesture intended to carry forward Sebastian’s and Linda’s memory in support of students.

Linda’s life was defined by her care for others and the quiet, everyday commitments that made her a central figure to family and friends. She will be remembered for the love she gave to those closest to her and for the small kindnesses that left a lasting impression on her community.
