Remembering Kristina

A life held close in memory

Kristina Lillian Soles (August 19, 1983 – July 4, 2021) was a beloved daughter, sister, and mother whose steady kindness and love of simple pleasures defined her life. Born in Effingham County and raised in Bulloch County, Kristina built a life rooted in family and the coastal rhythms she loved. She graduated from Southeast Bulloch High School in 2001 and remained close to the community where she grew up.

Kristina found joy in time spent outdoors — she loved fishing and trips to the beach, moments that reflected her gentle appreciation for nature and for days spent in the company of those she held dear. Family was at the center of her world. She was a devoted mother to her two daughters, Ryleigh and Rebeckah Soles, and a loving daughter to Johnny and Cindy Soles. Kristina’s warmth also extended to siblings, nieces and nephews, and a wide circle of friends and relatives who remember her as caring and present.

Professionally, Kristina worked at Mid-Georgia Pharmacy in Savannah, where she served customers with a steady, helpful presence. Her commitment to her work and to the people around her was another expression of how she cared for others in everyday life.

Family and friends gathered to celebrate Kristina’s life during services held in July 2021. Those who loved her remember the quiet, steady gifts she offered: patience, a ready smile, and a devotion to family traditions. In remembrance, loved ones established a memorial fund to help honor her memory and support those she left behind.

Kristina’s life is remembered for the ordinary, loving acts that made her a steady presence in the lives of her children and family. She is mourned and remembered by her daughters, parents, siblings, extended family, and friends, whose lives were brightened by her caring spirit. Though she is gone, the memories of her laughter, family gatherings, and days by the water remain a lasting tribute to a woman who treasured home, family, and the simple pleasures of life.
