Obituary

A formal remembrance

Kassandra Yamileth Morales (June 3, 1993 – April 29, 2018) was a devoted mother, daughter, sister and fiancé whose warmth and enthusiasm filled every room she entered. Born in Miami and raised in the Palm Beach area, Kassandra took great pride in her family and in being present for the everyday moments that matter most. She was a hands-on, loving mother to two young sons and shared many of her happiest hours on the baseball diamond as a team “dugout mom,” cheering and supporting the children at Phipps Park.

Kassandra balanced family life with steady work as a supervisor for a local cleaning company, where her reliability and kindness were noticed by coworkers. More than her roles, she was known for her laughter, her ready smile, and the joy she brought to gatherings of friends and family. Her mother, Yamileth Rodriguez, her father, David Morales, her siblings Katheren and Kevin, and her fiancé Luis Sanchez survive her, along with her two sons and an extended circle of relatives and friends who treasured her presence.

In the weeks after her passing, the community came together to honor Kassandra’s memory, raising funds to help her sons and to give her a dignified farewell. Those who loved her remember a woman who lived for her family, who found joy in ordinary days, and who made time for others in the small but meaningful ways that define a life well-lived.

Kassandra’s family asks that her life be remembered for the love she gave and the moments she created with those closest to her. Her memory endures in the children she adored and in the many lives she touched with her generous spirit.
