A formal remembrance
Justice Xavier Hansel Lee, 25, passed away on March 8, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas. Born January 29, 2001, in St. Louis, Missouri, Justice was a son, brother, partner and proud father whose family was the center of his life. He is deeply remembered by his partner, Destiny Urrabas, their young son Jovanni Xavier Kenzo Lee, and the child they were expecting.
Justice grew up with a strong sense of responsibility and a hardworking spirit. A graduate of Battle Creek Central High School, he was known to those close to him as determined and generous — someone who strove to provide for his loved ones and who was quick to lend a hand. Friends and family recall his natural humor and the way he could bring laughter into a room; he was often described as a jokester with a big heart.
Family was paramount to Justice. He is survived by his brothers Alonzo Lee and Aaron Lee, his bonus mother Nicole Cochrane, and bonus siblings William Sims and LaCinda Cochrane. He was preceded in death by his mother, Juanita Lee, and his grandmother, Lillian Lee-Anderson, who had a meaningful role in his life.
Those who knew him speak of Justice’s devotion to his children and his partner, remembering him as a loving, respectful presence and a source of strength for those close to him. His love, resilience, and the small everyday kindnesses he offered will live on through his children and the many people he touched.
Funeral arrangements were made through Castillo Funeral Home in San Antonio. Family and friends have been invited to honor his memory, leave condolences, and share remembrances of his life. In lieu of detailed public remembrances, those who wish to honor Justice can celebrate his memory by supporting his children and keeping alive the warmth and humor he shared with those around him.
