Obituary

A formal remembrance

Julio Cesar Chapa, born January 10, 1993, in Houston, Texas, was a loving son and a proud father whose family meant everything to him. Those who knew Julio recall a young man who cared deeply for his parents, siblings, and his two sons, Christopher and Roberto Ramos. He cherished time with family and participated in the traditions and community of his parish.

Julio was surrounded by family who loved him — his parents Hector Mario Chapa and Sandra Chapa; his brothers Saul Hermilo Chapa and Hector Mario Chapa, Jr.; and grandparents and extended relatives who remember him with affection. He is also survived by nieces and godparents who spoke of his warm presence in family life.

A rosary and visitation were held to bring family and friends together to honor Julio’s life, followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He was laid to rest at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, where loved ones gathered to celebrate his memory and commit him to rest.

Julio’s family asks that he be remembered not only for the sorrow of his passing but for the love he showed his children and relatives. His memory lives on in the stories, photographs, and everyday moments he shared with those closest to him. May his spirit rest in peace.
