Remembering Jordan

A life held close in memory

Jordan Renae Cook Chaffin, 30, of Logan, Ohio, passed away on December 22, 2025. Jordan was a person of quiet strength and fierce loyalty. She carried a competitive spark from her youth—an enthusiastic participant on the cheer mat—and brought that same determination to everyday life. Jordan loved hands-on work and the outdoors, whether tackling mud runs or choosing a simple T‑shirt and boots over anything fussy. She had a special tenderness for animals and those who needed protection, and her friends and family knew her as someone who would stand by them through anything.

Above all, Jordan was a loving mother. Her daughter, Zayden, was the center of her world and Jordan’s proudest role. Those who knew Jordan remember her as loving fiercely and speaking with a presence that commanded attention; when she cared, she gave everything she had.

Jordan is survived by her daughter Zayden; her mother, Heather Cook; her father, Greg Forrest; grandparents Barney and Molly Cook and Natalie Simpson; and a wide circle of aunts, uncles, and extended family who cherished her. She was preceded in death by her great-grandmother Phylis and by two family friends who played meaningful roles in her life.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Jordan’s life at Roberts Funeral Home in Logan, Ohio. Calling hours and a funeral service were arranged there with interment to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. In keeping with Jordan’s devotion to her daughter, contributions in her memory may be directed to support Zayden and the family.

Jordan’s warmth, determination, and deep love for her daughter live on in the lives she touched. She will be remembered for the strength she carried and the fierce love she gave.
