Johnny was a loving father to two children, Johnny Rodriguez Jr. and Jaylene Rodriguez, and is remembered by their mother, Brittany Ramirez, as well as by his mother, Irene Rodriguez, and sister, Jessica Barreras. Family meant everything to Johnny; he treasured time with his children and took pride in being present for them in the joys and small routines of family life. He is also remembered by his godson Joey Barreras, niece Aneyssa Barreras, and a wide circle of family and friends who loved his laughter and companionship.

Friends and relatives recall Johnny for his dependable work ethic and the easy way he could lift a room with humor. He was known for being personable and approachable, someone whose presence could turn ordinary gatherings into fond memories. His family remembers him as a source of light and warmth, and they hold tight to those memories in the weeks and years since his passing.

Johnny was preceded in death by his father, John Rodriguez. The family held services in Tucson and invited those who knew him to celebrate his life and the love he shared.
