JaQuan BigQueezy Robertson-Johnson

Jaquan “Big Queezy” Robertson-Johnson, Sr. (June 5, 1982 – April 18, 2015) brought joy and good humor to those who knew him. A Flint native and graduate of Northern High School, Jaquan was known among classmates as the “class clown,” always ready with a joke or a smile that brightened ordinary days. He enjoyed working with his hands — from computers to auto body work — and hoped to build a life combining those interests as a computer technology specialist and an auto body painter.

Family was at the center of Jaquan’s life. He was a loving father to his children Tariyah, JaQuan Jr., and JaQuavion, and took pride in the time he spent with them. He also cherished relationships with close friends and extended family members who remember him for his laughter, generous spirit, and the way he cared for people around him.

Jaquan delighted in simple pleasures: playing cards and dominoes with friends, sharing stories, and being present for the people he loved. Those who knew him remember a gentle, funny man who could lift the mood of a room and whose warmth was felt by many.

His memory is carried forward by his spouse, Tegan Brown; his children; siblings and other family members and friends who continue to honor his life. Services were held in Flint with loved ones gathering to celebrate the person he was and the moments he shared. Though his life ended too soon, Jaquan’s laughter, kindness, and devotion to family remain lasting parts of his legacy.
