Jacqueline Luna Garcia

Jacqueline “Jackie” Luna Garcia of Oklahoma City was born June 8, 2001. Jackie grew up on the south side of Oklahoma City as the daughter of Enrique Luna and Leticia García de Luna and the sister of Alondra, Rubí and Alexis. From a young age she was known for a bright, outgoing personality and a quick smile that lit up gatherings.

Jackie attended U.S. Grant High School and later graduated from Emerson High School in 2019. She enjoyed team activities as a youth and was involved in school athletics and acrobatics. After graduation she joined the workforce at Amazon, where she made friendships and took pride in her work. Always looking ahead, Jackie was enrolled in barber school and was working toward licensure so she could follow her passion for styling and creativity.

Faith and family were central to Jackie’s life. She and her family attended Little Flower Catholic Church in Oklahoma City, where her faith was an important source of comfort and community. Those who knew her remember Jackie for her kindness, helpful nature, sense of fun, and artistic interests — including a noted talent for painting cars. Her family described her as determined, patient, supportive, and uniquely joyful.

Jackie is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Elías García and María Luisa González, and cousin Anahy Luna. She is survived by her parents, siblings, and other loving family members and friends who will carry forward memories of her laughter and generous spirit.

Visitation and services were arranged by Vondel Smith Mortuary with a Mass at Little Flower Catholic Church, and Jackie was laid to rest at Heritage Burial Park at South Lakes. Those who wish to honor her memory were invited to plant a memorial tree or share remembrances with her family. Jackie will be remembered as a young woman of faith whose warmth and creativity touched those around her.
