Obituary
A formal remembrance
Jacobe Ti’Yon Hayes was a young man whose presence brightened the lives of those around him. Born September 20, 1999, Jacobe lived in Shreveport and was known to family and friends for his easy smile and the way he made ordinary moments feel important. He cherished time with his loved ones and valued the ties of family and neighborhood that shaped his days.
Those who gathered to honor Jacobe remembered a person who enjoyed being with others: sharing food, conversations, and the small celebrations that stitch family life together. His visitation and service brought neighbors, classmates, and relatives together to celebrate his life and the memories he leaves behind. In these gatherings, people recalled his kindness, the laughter he offered freely, and the quiet ways he supported those close to him.
Jacobe’s funeral service was held at Good Samaritan Funeral Home in Shreveport on January 22, 2022. The service gave family and friends the chance to speak about what he meant to them — a beloved son, brother, cousin and friend whose life mattered deeply to many. Those who loved him continue to carry his memory forward in the stories they share and the everyday acts of care that honor his life.
While his passing on January 7, 2022, was a profound loss, Jacobe’s life is remembered not for how it ended but for the people he loved and the relationships that were enriched by his presence. He is mourned by his family and by the wider community that celebrated him in life and in farewell. May his memory be a blessing to all who knew him.
