Isaiah Puga

Isaiah Paul Puga, born August 24, 2001, was a warm, spirited young man whose presence lit up family gatherings and small adventures alike. He grew up surrounded by a large, close-knit family who treasured his playful energy and fierce devotion to those he loved. Isaiah was the son of Vanessa and Allan Cope and was cherished by many siblings, cousins, nieces and nephews who recall his readiness to share a joke, a song or an impromptu plan.

From his days pole vaulting in school to later discovering a love of cooking and music, Isaiah followed his enthusiasms wholeheartedly. Friends and family remember him singing and playing guitar, and always down for skate sessions that matched his taste for spontaneity. He had a vivid, all-or-nothing approach to life — whether trying a new recipe, learning a song, or cheering on a sibling — and that wholeheartedness made ordinary moments feel special to the people around him.

Isaiah’s life was shaped by deep family bonds. Grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins were important to him, and he returned that devotion in the ways he showed up: with laughter, generosity, and loyalty. He loved being part of a bustling household and maintained close relationships with siblings and extended relatives who remember him as a bright and caring presence.

Though his life ended far too soon on October 30, 2024, Isaiah’s memory endures in the stories his family tells — stories of music, shared meals, skateboarding afternoons, and the easy humor that softened hard days.
