Remembering Harwinder

A life held close in memory

Harwinder “Harry” Singh was a cherished child whose presence brought joy to family and friends. Known to those closest to him for his warm smile and gentle nature, Harry was a bright boy who loved being around his loved ones and attending school. He attended Milwaukee College Prep and was described by relatives as a good kid with a caring heart.

Family gathered to honor Harwinder at combined services on August 11, 2023, at Trinity Missionary Baptist Church, with interment at Graceland Cemetery. Paradise Memorial Funeral and Cremation Services assisted the family with arrangements.

Those who knew Harry remember the simple, everyday things that made him special: his easy laugh, his friendliness toward others, and the small moments of kindness that revealed a thoughtful child. Though his time with family and community was far too short, the love he shared and the memories he left remain vivid in the hearts of those who knew him.

Harwinder’s passing on July 24, 2023, left his family grieving and asking the community to value and protect its young people. In the weeks after his death, loved ones and neighbors came together to mourn, remember, and celebrate the brief but meaningful life he lived.

Harwinder is remembered not by how he died but by who he was: a beloved son, nephew, cousin, and friend whose bright spirit touched those around him. May his memory be a blessing to his family and a reminder of the fragility of life and the importance of keeping children safe.
