Obituary
A formal remembrance
Gage Martin Celano was born on February 27, 1998, and raised in Colorado Springs. Those who knew him recall a generous, lively spirit — the friend who brought laughter into a room, the cousin who took younger family members out to skate, and the person who made others feel welcome and accepted.
Skateboarding and the outdoors were central to Gage’s life; he enjoyed time at local skate spots, exploring nearby trails, and sharing meals and video-game nights with friends and family. He was known for his playful sense of humor, frequent photo-bombing at gatherings, and a creativity and positivity that lifted people around him.
Gage is survived by his parents, Marty and Sandy (Lusby) Celano, his grandparents, and a wide circle of relatives and close friends who remember his kindness and warmth. Family organized a celebration of his life in Colorado Springs, where loved ones gathered to honor his memory and the joy he brought to everyday moments.
While his life was cut far too short on November 20, 2021, those who loved Gage remember him for who he was in life — compassionate, spirited, and full of heart. He left a lasting impression through small acts of care, his love of skating and the outdoors, and the deep bonds he kept with family. He will be remembered with love and gratitude by those who knew him.
