Remembering Frank

A life held close in memory

Frank David Finocchio Jr., 46, of Redondo Beach, is lovingly remembered for his steady presence, professional dedication, and the simple kindnesses that defined his everyday life. Frank built a career in operations for residential development and was serving as vice president of operations for Frame in Culver City; earlier roles included work with PVH Corporation, Beats by Dr. Dre and Crayola. Those who knew him recall a practical, hardworking man who took pride in his work and who quietly supported those around him.

Frank and his wife, Jessica (Drosnock) Finocchio, were longtime partners in family and community life; they would have marked more than two decades of marriage in 2018. Neighbors remembered Frank and Jessica as caring and generous — regularly sharing meals and checking in on longtime residents nearby. One neighbor described them as the kind of people who looked out for others, a small measure of the daily compassion that shaped Frank’s life.

Born and raised in a family that included ties to Nazareth, Pennsylvania, Frank’s career took him west, where he made his home in Redondo Beach and became part of the local fabric. Colleagues and friends noted his competence and reliability at work, and his willingness to help others — traits that made him valued both professionally and personally.

Frank’s death on May 27, 2018, was a sudden loss for his family and community. Those who loved him remember his thoughtful nature, his dedication to his household, and the many quiet ways he showed care. He leaves behind his wife, and other family who mourn his passing and celebrate the practical kindnesses and steady devotion that marked his life.

Frank’s family invited those who knew him to hold his memory gently — to recall the neighbor who brought a meal, the colleague who could be relied upon, and the husband whose everyday love was expressed in small, meaningful acts.
