Eugene C. Robinson

Eugene C. Robinson, age 36, served as a patrolman with the San Francisco Police Department and was remembered for his dedication to duty. A familiar presence on the city’s streets, Patrolman Robinson carried out his responsibilities with steady resolve, answering calls and protecting local businesses and neighbors.

On January 21, 1902, while confronting a burglary in progress, Robinson was mortally wounded. He was hurried to the hospital but passed away shortly after arrival.
