Eric Jr. Diggs

Eric Ron Diggs Jr., known to family and friends as "Lor Eric" or "Lil E," was born February 10, 1992, in Baltimore, Maryland. He had a smile that made an impression on everyone he met and a lively personality that his loved ones remember with fondness.

Eric grew up in Baltimore and attended the Baltimore City Public School System. He loved riding dirt bikes, freestyling rap, and spending time with family and friends. Fashion was important to him—he had a strong sense of style and took care to make a statement with his outfits. Those who knew him often recalled his charm and easygoing presence.

Family was central to Eric’s life. He was the beloved son of Eric Sr. and Joy Diggs, and the proud father of a daughter, Nylah Diggs. He is also survived by his brother Reginald Parrott and sisters Erica, Erin, Eriel and Erionna Diggs, along with grandparents, aunts, uncles, godparents, godchildren and many cousins who treasured his company. He was preceded in death by uncles Terrance (Hollywood) Thompson and Edwin, and his grandfather Ned A. Snead.

Eric’s energy and love for those close to him are what family members recall most—his laughter, his devotion to his daughter, and the care he showed to people around him. Whether he was working on a verse, riding with friends, or getting ready for an event, he approached life with enthusiasm and a distinctive personal style.

Though his life ended far too soon on May 15, 2015, those who loved Eric carry memories of his kindness, creativity, and bright presence. He is remembered with love by his parents, daughter, siblings, extended family and the many friends who knew him as Lil E. May his memory be a blessing to all who knew him.
