A formal remembrance
Emilio “Milo” Flores brought light and laughter to those around him. Born February 27, 2001, in Galveston, Milo was known for his easy smile, playful sense of humor, and deep affection for family and cousins. He attended Alvin High School and was an active member of The New Covenant Ministries, where his presence and joy were treasured by friends and church members alike.
Milo was the beloved son of Jose H. Flores and Rita (Camargo) Flores and a devoted brother to Joanna Flores and Victor Antonio Flores. Family was at the center of his life; he delighted in making people laugh and creating memories with those he loved. Those who knew Milo recall a young person whose laughter and lightness of spirit lifted the mood of any room.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather Jose Camargo, grandmother Victoria Flores, and baby Jessica Flores. He is survived by his parents, his siblings, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and a wide circle of friends whose lives he touched.
Family, friends, and members of his faith community gathered to honor Milo’s life. The memories he made and the laughter he shared remain with those who loved him. Though his time was far too short, Emilio’s warmth, humor, and love of family continue to be remembered by all who knew him.
