Obituary

A formal remembrance

Edward “Eddie” Lawrence Jr., 59, of Latrobe and longtime area resident, passed away on August 15, 2026. Born February 4, 1967, in Pittsburgh, Eddie was a devoted husband to Tammy (Boring) Lawrence and a proud father whose family was at the center of his life. He is survived by his wife of many years, his sons—Edward Lawrence III and Cody Lawrence—and his daughter Kaelym, as well as his siblings and extended family.

Eddie was known to those close to him for his easygoing nature and steady presence. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially fishing under the night sky, and he took pleasure in the everyday company of his dog, Nugget. A loyal fan of Pittsburgh sports, Eddie delighted in watching Steelers and Penguins games and sharing that enthusiasm with family and friends.

Friends and family recall Eddie’s thoughtful, unassuming manner and the small comforts he offered those around him. Whether sharing a story, casting a line, or watching a game together, he created ordinary moments that became meaningful to the people who loved him.

Services are being arranged privately by Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home. Those who wish to honor Eddie’s memory may remember him through quiet acts of kindness, a shared memory, or time spent with loved ones. His family asks for privacy as they grieve and celebrate his life.

Eddie’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family and in the gentle ways he showed care—through loyal companionship, a fondness for simple pleasures, and an enduring commitment to those he loved.
