Remembering Edmund

A life held close in memory

Edmund Lee Parker Jr. was born July 1, 1999, in Houston, Texas. He accepted his faith early in life and was an active member of New Light Christian Center before continuing his spiritual journey at New Jerusalem Whole Truth Church. Edmund graduated from Westfield High School and pursued vocational training, earning an HVAC certificate from Tulsa Welding School.

Family was central to Edmund’s life. He is lovingly remembered by his father, Edmund Parker Sr.; his two daughters, Hailee Yvette Parker and Nami Evette Parker; siblings including E'Munn Lionelle Parker, Major Liam Parker, Ebonie Leah Parker, and Emauree Parker; and an extended circle of grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends who treasured his presence. He was also survived by caring bonus family members who spoke warmly of him.

Those who knew Edmund remember a young man who cared deeply for his family and community. He combined practical skill with a quiet devotion—balancing work and faith while creating meaning in everyday moments with his children and loved ones.

Edmund was preceded in death by his mother, Tina Stewart, and grandparents James Braxton Sr. (Ten) and Debra Jean Jones. His family held services arranged by Wesley A. Boyd Funeral Home to celebrate his life and the many ways he mattered to those around him.

Edmund’s life is honored by those who loved him, who carry forward the memory of his steady faith, his dedication to his daughters, and the warmth he shared with family and friends. His memory lives on in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know him.
