Duane Mays

David Duane Mays, 51, of Weir, Kansas, passed away February 17, 2023. Born January 13, 1972, in Girard, Kansas, David was a beloved husband to Jamy and a proud father and grandfather whose family life was central to him.

David is remembered by his children—Wade (Roseland), Lane (Weir), and Cord (Fairland)—and by his stepdaughters Elissa, Callie and Kattie. He was a grandfather to Oakleigh, Stetson, Evalyn, Joseph and Preston. He is also survived by his parents, Keral Mays and Linda Mills of Weir, and by siblings Michael, Jamie and Kristina, along with extended family and many friends who brought warmth and meaning to his life.
