Drew Preston Allgood

Drew Preston Allgood was born April 1, 1997, in Louisville, Kentucky. Those who knew Drew remember a generous spirit and a bright, creative mind — a person who found joy in making and sharing things with others. He expressed himself as a brilliant artist and brought that same creativity into the kitchen, where his love of cooking became a way to gather people and show care.

Drew took great pride in his role as a father to his son, Preston Cash Allgood, and family meant everything to him. He is remembered with love by his mother, Sheandah Allgood; his father, Timothy Campbell (Melissa); his fiancé, Holly Chapman; and a wide circle of relatives including his grandmother Louise Embry, brothers Jake Allgood, Daylon Clyburn, Cole Campbell, Joshua Cheatham, and Chad Cheatham, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Those who spent time with Drew recall his warmth, his ready smile, and the small acts of kindness that made time with him feel meaningful.

Friends and family gathered to celebrate Drew’s life at Legacy Funeral Center — Schoppenhorst Chapel, where those who loved him shared memories, laughter, and the stories that kept his spirit present among them. In life he made meals, artwork, and memories that brought people together; in remembrance, those gifts continue to hold family and friends close.

The family has suggested memorial contributions to support Drew’s son, Preston Cash, and asked that those wishing to honor his memory consider a donation in his name. Though gone far too soon, Drew’s creativity, warmth, and the love he held for his son and family remain as a lasting testament to a life that mattered deeply to those who knew him.
