A formal remembrance
Dominique E‑KeVaughn Ford, 27, of Fulton, Missouri, passed away on October 25, 2024. Born June 22, 1997, in Fulton, Dominique—often called “Dommo” by those close to him—was known for a lively presence, faith, and steady dedication to his family and community.
A graduate of Fulton High School (Class of 2015), Dominique balanced work and study while pursuing his goals. He was employed as a laser technician at Danuser Machine Company, where colleagues remember him as dependable and hardworking. Dominique also furthered his education at Lincoln University with the aspiration of becoming a physical education teacher, a path that reflected his interest in mentoring young people and giving back to his hometown.
Faith was an important part of Dominique’s life. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Fulton and took part in the church choir, sharing his voice and devotion with others. Family meant everything to him; he is survived by his parents, Keith Ford and Tacia Brandt, and other loved relatives who treasured his humor, his warmth, and the close bonds he kept with those around him.
Dominique’s life was marked by resilient spirit and the simple joys of everyday connection — from time spent with family and friends to his commitment to work and study. Though his life was cut short, those who knew him remember a young man who lived fully and cared deeply for others.
A celebration of Dominique’s life was arranged by his family, who have welcomed memories and remembrances from the community. In honoring him, friends and relatives have gathered to share stories, music, and the things that made Dominique uniquely himself. His family has asked the community to remember Dominique not only for the tragedy of his death but for his laughter, his faith, and his hopes for the future.
Dominique’s warm presence and the plans he had for teaching and guiding young people remain part of his legacy. He will be remembered by his family, church community, classmates, and coworkers as a bright, determined young man whose life mattered to many.
