David Vasquez

David Vasquez, beloved member of the Mount Olive community, passed away at his home on May 7, 2016, at the age of 47. Born September 2, 1968, David was a devoted presence in the lives of those who knew him. He made his home at 271 Zion Church Road, where friends and family remember him for his steady character and the small kindnesses he offered to neighbors.

Those who gathered to honor David’s life remembered a man who cared deeply for his family and community. Services to celebrate his life were held on May 14, 2016, with a graveside gathering at Old Mill Cemetery. In those moments of farewell, family and friends shared memories of simple joys and the daily ways David showed up for the people he loved.

David’s passing left a quiet space in the community he called home. Family and friends asked for privacy as they grieved and offered thanks to those who supported them in the days following his death. He is survived by relatives and neighbors who carry forward his memory in small acts of care and remembrance.
