Darian Clinton Walker Jr.

Darian Clinton Walker Jr., 19, was cherished by family and friends for the closeness he shared with those around him. The beloved son of Simella Ann Brown and Darian Clinton Walker Sr., Darian was also a stepson to Dwayne Eddie Harris and a devoted brother and uncle to Seirra Hill, Keirra Gabriel, Darionne Walker and Lei Lani Liner, and to his young nieces and nephews. He grew up surrounded by family members who remember him as a presence in their lives.

Family and extended relatives included grandparents Princella (Percy) Rivers and Linda (Larry) Holloway, and a number of aunts and uncles who kept him close to the life of his community. Those who knew Darian recall ordinary, meaningful moments: family visits, shared meals, and the small, steady ways he connected with people who mattered to him.

Funeral services were arranged by Charbonnet Family Services in New Orleans. A visitation and memorial service were held in early January 2022, giving family and friends a time to gather, share memories, and celebrate his life. The service reflected the family’s wish to honor Darian’s place in their lives and to provide comfort to those grieving his loss.
