Remembering Daniel
A life held close in memory
Daniel Cisneros Reyes, born July 11, 1991, was a devoted son and a young man whose life touched family and friends in Chicago. At 20 years old, Daniel was known to those close to him for the warmth he showed at home and the quiet ways he cared for the people around him. He was the son of José E. Cisneros and Elida Reyes, and family remained central to him throughout his life.
Services to honor Daniel were held in Chicago in early November 2011. Visitation took place on Friday, November 4, 2011, at Funeraria Del Ángel Sagrado Corazón, followed by a prayer service. Those who gathered remembered him through stories, music, and the comfort of shared memories.
Daniel’s family asked that remembrances celebrate the life he lived and the love he gave. In statements shared with the community, they invited friends and relatives to hold his memory gently, to seek peace in the moments and writings he left behind, and to honor him by supporting those who are grieving. The arrangements were entrusted to Funeraria Del Ángel Sagrado Corazón of Chicago.
Though his life was brief, Daniel’s presence left a lasting imprint on his family and community. He is remembered with love and gratitude by his parents and all who knew him.
