Remembering Cody

A life held close in memory

Cody Lee Webb, 29, of Quinlan, Texas, passed away on September 8, 2024. A beloved son and a devoted father, Cody’s life was shaped by his love for family, the open road, and the simple joys of spending time with those closest to him.

Born December 15, 1994, to Michael Lee Webb and Augenia Faye Fitzpatrick, Cody carried with him a special bond with his family throughout his life. He was a proud father to three children—Waylon, Wyatt, and Dixie—who were the center of his world. Those who knew him remember a man who treasured the everyday moments: fishing trips, motorcycle rides with his father, and relaxed gatherings with friends and family where his easy laugh and bright presence warmed the room.

Cody loved motorcycles and shared that passion with his dad, making memories on rides and at events that brought them closer. He also found peace and pleasure beside the water, where fishing offered him quiet time and the chance to connect with others who shared his interests. Friends describe Cody as someone who lived fully and encouraged others to do the same—he embraced life’s celebrations and tried to make each day meaningful.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather L.C. Webb and grandparents Kermit and Anna Fitzpatrick. Cody is survived by his parents Michael Lee Webb and Augenia Faye Fitzpatrick; his stepmother Kimberley Page Webb; his children Waylon Lee Webb, Wyatt Sean Cordell Webb, and Dixie Loretta LeeAnne Webb; grandmother Sharon Webb; sisters Amber Michelle Webb and Annie Strand; stepbrothers Scotty, Christian, and Rilley; and a wide circle of friends and extended family who will carry his memory forward.

Cody’s family and friends remember him for his love of life, his loyalty to those he cared about, and the joy he brought to ordinary days. Though his passing is deeply felt, the stories, rides, and shared moments remain—quiet reminders of a life that mattered. Those who loved Cody hold his memory close and celebrate the warmth and energy he brought into their lives.
