A life held close in memory
Charles Keiyundre Dabney also known as Charley Wally was born November 6, 2005 at 2:14pm at Sherman Hospital, in Elgin, Il to Essie Dabney and LeAndre Dabney Sr. He is the second oldest of 5 children. Charles attended a host of elementary schools, Greeneville middle school, and Greeneville High school; where he graduated on May 25, 2024. He was due to attend Walter State Community College in the fall of 2024 with a major in Criminal Justice/Law enforcement. There he would spend two years and later join the United States Marine Corp and become part of the Central Intelligence Agency. Charles is a protector at heart and in the physical. He will check on everyone no matter the hour. If they were good he was good. He worked at Subway and IslandVibeGrill food truck. Charles always said, "I don’t mind working but it’s my parent’s job to give me money." He wrestled as a Greeneville SilverBack and Greeneville Devil. Where he obtained a championship ring and learned the true meaning of friendship. Charles loves track and field, he said "when I run its like I’m free, free like a bird to go and be everywhere.
Charles accepted Christ at a young age. He attended Thrive Church in Greeneville, TN under the leadership of Pastor Rick Becker. Charles said, "I can hear him in my sleep ma." His favorite verse was Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

He loves playing video games, and hanging out with friends, and family. It didn’t matter where you were he would find his way to you. He is the light that brightens up every room with a smile and charm that no one could resist. He is truly loved by all and is always known as the life of the party.
Our beloved Charles entered his eternal journey on September 08, 2024 at Johnson City Memorial Hospital in Johnson City, TN. He is preceded in death by his grandmother’s Demetris Lewis and Yolanda Dabney, his Grandfather Shawn Lewis, his god brother Darieus Mohead, his uncle Brent Johnson Jr, and his auntie A’shawntia Wrightsell.
Charles leaves behind to cherish his memories, his loving mother and father Essie and LeAndre Dabney Sr, brothers, LeAndre Dabney Jr, Elijah Dabney, and Davyd Dabney, one sister Zahmariyah Dabney, and a nephew Darieus Dabney. Great grandmother Heliweiss (Aubrey) Williams, Grandfather Brent Johnson Sr, God mother Elaina (Dion) Mohead-Williams and Samantha Epler. His auntie’s Regina (Leslie), Tamiki (Robert), Brenda, Brandette, Tiawana, Quinshatta (Chuck), Demekia, Ashanti, Lanice, and Keanna. Uncles Erik, David, Joshua, and Lance. His girlfriend Danica and favorite cousin Kriste’A. His God-sister Jazmine Blue. Extended brothers in Christ Braxton, Nikolas (Nik), Ateavion (TT), Ethan, Mario, and Kendall. And a host of Aunts, uncles, cousins, family, and friends. Whom will truly love and miss him.
Matthew 19:14-Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
