Carlos Alex Spence Jr., son of Sharon Henderson and the late Carlos Spence Sr., was born on July 13, 1985 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life suddenly on March 26, 2009.He received his education at the St. Francis Academy in Baltimore, Maryland where he excelled at basketball. He was last employed by the Baltimore Sun papers. He accepted Christ as a child at Friendship Baptist Church.Carlos was affectionately called “Mo” by Grandma Spence and “Pretty” by Grandma Delores. Carlos loved his family, especially his son, who brought great joy to him. He affectionately referred to Carlos III as “Dad-Dee”.Carlos had a beautiful smile and was soft-spoken. He loved to tell jokes and make his family laugh.He leaves to mourn; his mother, Sharon Henderson and stepfather, Michael (who gave him spiritual guidance); his brother, Carl Baskerville (who was his best friend), his son, Carlos Spence III, his pride and joy, two grandmothers, Delores Epps and Viola Spence; devoted special friends, Erica Thornton and Whitney Hayes; stepson, Jaron Benton; devoted father figure, Carlos Baskerville, aunts, uncles and a host of other relatives and friends.
