Carlos Jesus Baez-Lugo (born November 7, 1989) brought joy and love to those closest to him. A devoted father to Jayleen Leilany Baiz Gamez and Ariani Jessabelle Baiz Gamez, Carlos treasured family gatherings and the everyday moments that made life meaningful. He was a loving son to Maria Del Rosario Lugo Gonzalez and a cherished partner to his fiancé, Darlene Judith Gamez Varela.
Carlos is also remembered by his sister, Lexly Vanessa Baiz Lugo; his nephew, Jesus R. Gutierrez Baiz; and extended family members including his tata Ramon Lugo and nana Lucy Lugo. Those who knew him recall a presence that brightened family celebrations and simple afternoons alike.
Taken from his family on July 31, 2016, Carlos’s memory lives on through his daughters and the many relatives who carry his stories forward. Though words cannot fill the space of his absence, his legacy endures in the love he showed and the everyday kindnesses that remain in the hearts of his family. Services and remembrances celebrated his life and the bonds he created with those who loved him.
