Remembering Brittany

A life held close in memory

Brittany Renee (Dennison) Pace, 22, of Glasgow, Kentucky, was a loving mother and devoted member of her community. Known to family as a caring homemaker, Brittany’s days were centered on raising her two young sons, Charles Harrison and Colt Wyatt, and on the quiet comforts of family life and faith. She attended Shepherd’s House Church and found strength in the fellowship and friendships there.

Born to Glenn Dennison III and Amanda Parker, Brittany was surrounded by a large and loving extended family. She is remembered by her parents and stepfather Steve, her four sisters — Ashley Huffman, Tonya Dennison (Thomas Ballard), Chelsea Minks, and Jessica Chapman — and her brothers Christopher Clay Parker, Justin Cox, John Cox, and Timothy Dennison. Her maternal grandmother Becky Phelps and paternal grandmothers Shirley Rogers and Kathy Dennison, along with many nieces and nephews, also survive her. Family history notes she was preceded in death by grandfathers Larry Jaggers, Clayton Parker, Glenn Dennison Jr., and Donald Rogers.

A simple, caring presence in her home and neighborhood, Brittany loved the rhythms of daily life with her children and family. Friends and relatives recall her devotion to her sons and the gentle way she related to those around her. Her life was celebrated with funeral services held at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home and burial at Hiseville Cemetery; visitation was held prior to the service to allow the community to express their condolences.

Though her time was far too short, Brittany’s role as a mother and daughter, sister and friend, is the part of her story that endures. She is remembered not for how she died but for the children she loved and the family ties she nurtured. Donations in her memory were suggested to help with funeral expenses, reflecting the community’s wish to support her young boys and honor her place in their lives.

Brittany was gone far too soon. May the love, memories, and moments connected to this life continue to be treasured, and may those mourning find comfort in remembering what mattered most.
