Brian Cummins

Brian Keith “Dusty” Cummins of Westmoreland, Tennessee, passed away on November 27, 2021, at the age of 41. Born April 9, 1980, Brian was the son of David Carl Cummins, Jr. and Martha Alice Loggins Cummins.Those who knew Brian remember a down-to-earth person who belonged to a close-knit Tennessee community and family. He was a steady presence among neighbors and family members, and his life was rooted in the everyday connections—friendship, family gatherings, and the small kindnesses that make a neighborhood feel like home.Brian is survived by his parents and other family who carry forward his memory. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers David Carl Cummins, Sr. and Walter Loggins, and grandmothers Martha Elizabeth Loggins and (name withheld) Cummins. The funeral arrangements were handled through Woodard Funeral Home in Westmoreland, which published a family notice honoring his life.On November 27, 2021 Brian was taken to a local hospital where he later died. That loss was felt sharply by those closest to him. In remembering Brian, family and friends recall his familiar presence in the community, his ties to those who loved him, and the everyday generosity that made him a valued neighbor.
