Remembering Brandon
A life held close in memory
Brandon Scott Spencer was born February 6, 1999, and passed away on February 13, 2016. A son of Tonia Marie Barnhill Spencer and the late Paul Spencer, Brandon grew up with a love of the outdoors and sports. He enjoyed fishing and was active in track, baseball, and football — pursuits that reflected his energy, teamwork, and the simple pleasures of youth.
Brandon was a devoted father to his son, Brayden Lynn Spencer, a role that family members say brought him great pride and meaning. He is also survived by his mother, Tonia Spencer of Fayetteville, North Carolina; sisters Kimberly Spencer and Alicia Spencer; brother Christopher Morrison; and his companion, Rosa Harsey. Those who knew Brandon remember a young man whose life centered on family and moments shared — whether on the field, by the water, or at home with his son.
Funeral arrangements were handled by Powers Funeral Home in Lugoff, South Carolina, with services held at a later date in North Carolina. In remembering Brandon, family and friends celebrate his short but meaningful life and the love he showed those closest to him. He is remembered not for how he died but for who he was: a son, sibling, companion, and loving father whose presence mattered to those who loved him.
