Remembering Brandon
A life held close in memory
Brandon Thomas Brown, born August 3, 1992, brought enthusiasm and steady effort to everything he did. Known to family and friends as a loyal son and brother, Brandon split his time between working as a plumber’s assistant for K & B Plumbing and helping bring summer smiles as a driver for Big Daddy’s Ice Cream. Those who knew him remember a young man who loved sports — he was an accomplished wrestler and played football and little league baseball — and who proudly followed the Baltimore Ravens and the Dallas Cowboys.
A native of the region, Brandon’s family roots stretched to both Montgomery County and Steubenville, Ohio. He was the son of Tony T. Brown, Sr. and Tammy R. Brown of Wintersville, OH, and Leslie L. Clipper and Eric Clipper of Frederick, MD. Brandon was surrounded by a large and loving family: brothers T. J. Brown, Tyler Lowe, Walter Brown, E. J. Clipper and Elijah Ford; a step-brother David Hall; sisters LaDonn Galloway, DeMika Galloway, Erica Daniels, Saffire Clipper and Shawna Clipper; step-sisters Candice Alexander and Olivia Pratt; and many grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
His funeral services were arranged by Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, with interment at All Souls Cemetery in Germantown. In honoring Brandon’s memory, family invited friends and community members to share condolences and support. The outpouring of care reflected how much his presence mattered to those who knew him — a young man with ordinary joys and commitments whose life touched many.
Brandon’s life is remembered for both his everyday kindnesses and his determination: a young person working hard, playing hard, and valued deeply by family and community. Though his passing on June 13, 2015, left a hole in the lives of many, the memories of his laughter, athletic spirit, and the small pleasures he helped deliver — whether on a neighborhood ballfield or from an ice cream truck on a summer evening — remain with those who loved him.
