Remembering Bethany
A life held close in memory
Bethany Kay Taylor of Bay City, Michigan, born December 23, 1994 in Saginaw, is lovingly remembered as a devoted mother and a warm friend whose bright smile touched many. A lifelong reader who enjoyed taking her young sons to the library, Bethany also expressed her creativity through makeup, beauty, and fashion and brought that sense of style to her work at Cato. Family and friends recall her as compassionate and lively, someone who celebrated life and cared deeply for the people around her.
She is survived by her two young sons, Maverick and Zeke, who were the center of her world; her father Ken and stepmother DeeDee Taylor; sister Brenna (Joey) Gardyszewski; brothers Hayden Hager (Kennedy Percupchick), Nathan Gould, and Brandon Gould; grandmother Jackie Taylor; and a wide circle of cousins, aunts, uncles, and nephews who treasured her. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jennifer (Hundley) Taylor, and other beloved relatives.
Family and friends gathered for a Celebration of Life on September 17, 2022 in Pinconning to honor Bethany’s memory and the joy she brought to those around her. In remembering Bethany, loved ones recall a generous spirit who found delight in simple, everyday moments with her children and who shared her warmth with a broad circle of family and friends. Her memory endures in the laughter of her boys and in the many small acts of kindness and color she brought into the lives of others.
