Obituary

A formal remembrance

Belansky Guerdy Fanord, 24, is remembered for the love he carried for his family and the quiet ways he supported those closest to him. Born in Cap-Haitian, Haiti, Belansky became a son, a sibling, and a father. He is survived by his parents, Eberle Fanord and Guilene Pierre-Fanord; his daughters, Myia and Jalayah; and his siblings, including Saskia Fanord-Munoz, Eberly Fanord, and Skyler Fanord.

Those who knew Belansky recall a young man who worked steadily — employed as a driver for a rental company — and who cared for his children and family. Details shared by his family describe someone who held close connections across generations and maintained ties to both his birthplace and his community in Orlando.

Family and friends gathered to honor his life with a visitation and funeral service in Orlando. The service offered a space for stories, remembrance, and the comfort of community during a time of deep grief. Interment followed at Orlando Memorial Gardens.

Belansky’s passing on April 10, 2022, left a void for his daughters and for the family who survive him. While public records report the circumstances of his death, those who loved him wish most to be remembered by the roles he filled: son, brother, and loving father. His memory endures in the lives of his children and in the care of the family who continue to celebrate the person he was.
