A life held close in memory

Antonio de Jesus Vidrio, 17, of Buena Park, passed away on December 7, 2006. A devoted son and member of his local community, Antonio’s life was celebrated by family and friends who gathered to honor him with a vigil, funeral Mass, and burial.

Family and loved ones held a visitation and vigil at Renaker‑Klockgether Mortuary in Buena Park on December 17, where those who knew him came together to share memories and offer support. A funeral Mass followed on the morning of December 18 at St. Pius V Catholic Church in Buena Park, reflecting Antonio’s ties to his parish community and the faith that comforted his family. He was laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Cypress.

Survivors remembered Antonio as a young man dearly loved by his family. Those services, attended by relatives, classmates, and neighbors, focused on the warmth of his relationships and the sorrow of a family saying goodbye too soon. In the days of remembrance, the people who cared for Antonio honored the life he lived and the place he held in their hearts.

Though his time was brief, Antonio’s memory endures through the love expressed at his services and the quiet remembrance maintained by his family. His name remains in the hearts of those who gathered to celebrate his life and in the records of the community he called home.
