Anthony Morris

Anthony Miles Morris M.D., 37, of Purcell, Oklahoma, passed away on June 8, 2026. Born February 9, 1989, in Oklahoma City, Anthony was the only child of John and Vicky (McCormack) Morris and was raised in Purcell. He graduated from Purcell High School with the Class of 2007, and his life and work reflected a steady devotion to caring for others.

A physician by training, Anthony brought compassion and steadiness to both his profession and his family life. Those who knew him remember a man who valued the everyday ties that make a community — family gatherings, hometown connections, and the small acts of support that sustain friends and neighbors. Though quiet by nature, he built a life marked by responsibility to others and a strong sense of place in Purcell.
