Remembering Angel
A life held close in memory
Angel Anolis Oller, Jr., age 20, of Dorchester, is remembered by family and friends for his love of baseball, his close family ties, and the quiet ways he encouraged others. A son to Angel A. Oller, Sr. and Melissa Guerrero, Angel took joy in the everyday moments of life — playing on neighborhood teams, supporting his friends, and being present for his loved ones.
Those who knew Angel recall a young man who lifted teammates with his spirit on the field and who cared deeply about his community. His family held visiting hours at Brady & Fallon Funeral Home in Jamaica Plain, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Thomas Aquinas Church and burial at St. Michael Cemetery in Roslindale. In the days after his passing, the care and support shown by neighbors, clergy, and community leaders reflected the place he held in the lives of those around him.
Though his life was cut short, Angel’s memory endures in the small, honest ways he showed kindness — in the encouragement he offered teammates, the laughter shared with family, and the presence he brought to his neighborhood. Those who loved him continue to honor his spirit and the promise of a life that mattered to so many.
