Alex Patterson

Alex C. Patterson, beloved father, son, brother and friend, passed away on October 22, 2025, at age 44. Those who knew Alex remember a man whose care for others showed in small, steady ways — sharing food with neighbors in need, offering guidance to local youth, and trying to make his community a kinder place. He was described by his partner and family as a devoted parent and a steady presence in the lives of those he loved.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Alex’s life with combined services on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Rock Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at noon. Services are entrusted to Reid’s New Golden Gate Funeral Home.

While the loss is felt deeply by family and by people Alex helped in Milwaukee, those who knew him speak most of his efforts to lift others — mentoring young people and providing food for people experiencing homelessness — gestures that gave shape to how he lived. In remembering Alex, his family extends thanks for the many acts of kindness, prayers and support shown during their time of bereavement.

Alex will be remembered for the compassion and practical care he offered to others, and for the quiet, steadfast love he gave to his child and to those closest to him. May his memory be a blessing to those who loved him.
