Remembering Adam

A life held close in memory

Adam David Baith, born December 25, 1981 in Appleton, Wisconsin, was a devoted son, brother and friend whose generous spirit touched many. A 2000 graduate of Appleton North High School, Adam continued his studies at Fox Valley Technical College and carried the steady, hardworking nature learned early in life into everything he did.

Adam loved simple, joyful pursuits: video games that brought friends together, quiet days fishing, and the slow, restorative hours spent at his family’s cabin in Florence. Those who knew him remember a man who cared deeply for family and friends, who could lift a room with his good humor and who was always willing to lend a hand when someone needed one.

Family was central to Adam’s life. He was the son of David and Terri (Burich) Baith and is survived by his brother, Luke (Cathie) Baith; his grandmother, Catherine Baith; and a circle of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who carry his memory forward. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leo Baith, and Delores and John Burich.

In keeping with the family’s wishes, services were private. The family asked that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Florence County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit in Adam’s memory — a reflection of his connection to the places and people he loved.

Adam’s life was defined by the quiet kindnesses he offered and the simple pleasures he shared with others. He will be remembered not for how he died but for how fully he lived in the company of those who loved him.
